Emile is not your typical Nashville Investment Banking Analyst. Growing up in a small Canadian town north of Quebec City, his aptitude and love for ice hockey took him from a regimen in the rigorous junior hockey system to a varsity slot on the Salem State University hockey team. As a natural French-speaking Canadian, Emile had to learn English while taking freshman classes. His love for banking developed after he transferred to Wentworth Institute of Technology (Boston), where he traded his final year of hockey eligibility for a Fall Analyst internship position at Covington Associates, a middle-market investment bank located in Boston.
Emile and his fiancé moved to Nashville where she accepted a position at Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital, and he joined Avondale Partners as an Analyst. By day, Emile works on various deals, helping senior team members throughout each stage of the transaction process. In his off-hours Emile has replaced his hockey passion with an immersion in competitive martial arts (jiu-jitsu) and playing the guitar.
Favorite Dish: Poutine – a Quebec favorite of French fries smothered in gravy and cheddar cheese curds.
